What type of renovation requires a permit?

Everything! Florida has strict laws in place to protect you and your family. These permits work hand in hand with Florida homeowners insurance and home inspection policies.

What kind of renovations can I do to increase the value of my home?

Kitchens, bathrooms, roof, and windows are our top suggestions to improve the value of your home.

How often should I replace my roof?

While the life expectancy of a roof is usually 25-30 years, many homeowners insurance requires homeowners to replace their roof every 15 years. Florida building code also requires a roof to be replaced if 25% or more of the roof is damaged.

How can I maximize my backyard space?

First we will look at the building codes for your area, then the types of permits that are allowed. If you have an HOA this will be taken into account for approval as well. Once we know what we can do, the fun begins and your imagination can take the reins!

When will it be finished?

You can’t rush perfection! The speed in which we can finish the job depends on how efficiently we can work together. It's encouraged that the client has as many finishing details chosen prior to the contract being written. This allows us accurate pricing and timeline in the contract.

Do I need a designer?

How well do you know your own style? Every client is different. If you have a good image of what you want with pictures and descriptions, chances are you're good to go! If you aren’t sure how everything will look together, what kind of vibe you’re going for, or how to maximize your space, then we have lots of designers to choose from to help you!
